WEAKNESSES: He's very proud and tends to be a bit of a hypocrite. He also has an irrational fear of birds, ducks in particular. If one is around him for long enough, in fact, he could even faint. Despite his shrewd nature, he was probably a flight of stairs in his past life, and will do anything for someone he cares for, provided it doesn't go against his morals, which are firmly planted and large in number.
STRENGTHS: Emilio's quite the cardshark, in addition to being very observant. Regardless of the situation at hand, he can almost always think of some way out of trouble, whether it involves waiting patiently or pulling a MacGuyver and making a grappling hook out of several paperclips and a piece of string. He also has a bit of knowledge when it comes to medicines; his family owns a pharmacy.
WEAPON OF CHOICE: His legs and fists! Weapons are for cowards. N/A
PERSONA: N/A.
ARCANA: The Magician
FACTION: N/A
PERSONALITY: Emilio is, simply put, obsfucatingly stupid. He puts up his silly front in an attempt to lull others into a false sense of security before he strikes; one thing about him is that he likes holding some sort of superiority, never mind how insignificant it is, over others. He likes winning. Underneath that front he puts up is a rather shrewd, highly observant young man who takes pleasure in pointing out the faults of others. Unfortunately, this ability doesn't extend to himself, and as such is prone to hypocritical or contradictory comments.

Despite all of this, however, he's genuinely a kind, loving person and is, for most people, at least, even a bit of a doormat. More often than not, this tends to override his aformentioned nature. He never hesitates to help friends of his out, if he is able. Though he is a bit overprotective and prudish, he knows when to stop and let someone handle things on their own... usually. If he doesn't, he's also somewhat prone to physical violence, always punching or kicking. The wounds, however, are never particularly serious as he himself, though desensitized to most forms of violence, is fairly pacifistic in nature.
BACKGROUND: Emilio was the youngest out of three boys. His family, though amazingly loving, particularly towards him (he was the baby, after all), was middle class, living off their running a small pharmacy. The oldest boy, Fortunato, was very ambitious, and after finishing school, managed to get into the business of art dealing, which eased his family's financial strain slightly. Of course, none of this was really of note to Emilio; he was only around eight at the time. Cheerful and loving even as a child, this only represented the fact that his parents could work less, and they could all spend more time together. One warm spring day, they'd decided to go to on a picnic, where he was promptly attacked by ducks, one of which stole his favorite hat. After that experience, he instead opted to take his meals inside, and by the time he was 9, preferred doing most things inside, out of fear that the ducks would come back.

Shortly after his tenth birthday, his mother went into labor with her fourth child-- this one was a girl. The rest of his family rushed to the hospital; he was told to stay home and look over the house. He happily obliged, and patiently waited for his family's return. Four people left the house that night, and eventually, four also came back; his mother was not one of them. Though deeply saddened after being told of his mother's death, Emilio quickly took a shine to his younger sister. He doted on Fiorella (He didn't really like the name, and instead opted to call her Fiore, which eventually stuck with the other members of the family) constantly, and even began going outside again to play with her. The two went out so much, in fact, that the two caught a terrible cold while staying out for too long one winter. He recovered eventually, she didn't. This was when he was 14. He spent 4 long years after that living in the shadows of his older brothers: Fortunato had his art dealing, Giosué kept the pharmacy running smoothly, and all Emilio had to his name was his academic prowess. Eventually, his father fell ill as well, and in the associated discord, Giosué's ability to keep the pharmacy running well began to falter, and Fortunato, having to dedicate time to his father, missed out on several deals. His family was back in their financial rut.

Initially, Emilio tried to help out with the pharmacy to lighten the load on his brother, but found himself unable to function properly in that field. Eventually, he came across rumors of an up-and-coming mafia family. He asked around, and before he knew it, he'd made his way into the Ferrari family as an efficient accountant. (Of course, his brothers questioned the sudden re-ease of their financial problems, and though their father said not to worry about it, Fortunato and Giosué asked anyway. Emilio simply smiled and said that he'd gotten a job with a car dealership.) Though he never saw much of the Executives, or the Boss, for that matter, he'd heard stories about their Boss's daughter. She was about ten years his junior, and through some strange turn of events, he'd managed to go from working as an accountant to guarding this girl. It wasn't like he really meant to punch that guy out. He didn't even know who she was, he just didn't like seeing people get harassed at the time, but he acted quickly in a situation in which she was in danger. Things happen, he said. No biggie, he said, and even though this little girl didn't seem very... lively in nature, he acted as friendly towards her as he would towards anyone else, if not moreso. She was his job now, after all.
