Why the heck do you get free stuff for working at a hotel? How does that make sense from a business perspective? O.o

I mean, yay! and all that, but really, I'm extremely curious as to why/how that is.

not just for working at a hotel. it's a -concierge- ie, i can send them rich people by recommending them :)

the insentive is they treat me well, i'm going to have a good time and have a good impression, and have lots of great things to say about them to my guests.
