Dear Percy,

Sorry for taking to get so long to get back to you. To be absolutely honest I was high as a kite like night and had the inevitable hangover this morning. Then it was my Sunday for having Tansy over and what with one thing and another I've only just looked at my journal.

Tomorrow is no problem at all. Instead of lunch why don't we meet up after work and you can come home to my place and I'll cook you a traditional bachelor's dinner! You bring the beer!
