The kernel today had an article about the "choice" campaign coming to campus in the near future. Their tactic, naturally, is to show that abortion is horribly, horribly wrong by putting giant pictures of aborted fetuses everywhere. Apparently, this is essential for us to understand abortion, and according to the quote from the group's director, "

You already know my take on this. As for the trucks, I wish I could post posters of children beaten and starved to show the pro-lifers what they should really be pro-life about. The pictures only attempt, and cause almost reflexively, the viewer to feel like hurling not to stop and reconsider their take on the issue. It is shock value only because even the most pro-life and the most pro-choice will tell you that they know that they very seldomly change someone's position. Love ya and hope you can get through the signage without passing out and hitting your head; I know a great attorney if you do.
