Due to ezyl overlooking many details and such, and due to the fact that fandom requires much more fic and exchange and challenging and f-ship than it currently has,

percylicious will now be hosting Fic Challenge Contests.
What is a fic challenge contest, you ask?
Simply put, every odd week, we give you a prompt/challenge. You have ten days (TEN DAYS 8D) to write that challenge, and then members will vote on it. There will be winners, there will be places, and there will be prizes.
This is the general schedule.
First Week
Monday: Announcement of prompt.
Second Week
Wednesday: Deadline for submission at 11:59PM PST.
Thursday: Voting starts at 12:00AM PST.
Saturday: Voting ends at 11:59PM PST.
Sunday: Announcements for winners.t of winners.
This will often be extended, as I know many people receive notices late, many people take time to write, many people have great excuses etc.
There are several elements involved in our challenges.
Fics should follow general guidelines.
--->Proper English. No shitty grammar/spelling. Beta if you can.
--->Everything is PJO-related. Bit of a duh.
--->No restrictions to ratings, genres, pairings, unless specified.
--->Fics should be a minimum length of 500 words, unless the challenge requires it to be longer. Easy-easy. :D
Challenges are split by weeks.
--->Week 1 is one challenge. Week 2 is another challenge. Week 2 will begin when Week 1 winners have been announced. Week 1 fics may still be submitted after the end of Week 1, but they will (obviously) not be voted upon and only admired. :D. During this time, other unrelated fics to the challenge may still be submitted, but they will not be voted upon, as well.
--->Each challenge is divided into time periods. Submission period, voting period, and announcements. --->Submission time will take 10 (- 15) days. Voting period takes 3 days. Anouncements will take another 2 days.
Fic content for each week must be challenge-related.
--->Entries to the challenge MUST have the words "[challenge entry]" in the subject bar and story info section. Fake-cuts are allowed and encouraged.
--->If I or any of the other mods find submissions to have nothing to do with the prompt, or no specific lines requested to be present in the fic, the story in question will be rejected, or if accepted beforehand, deleted without notice to the author.
There will be MEMBER-ONLY voting.
--->Votes will all be screened until after the winners are announced.
--->You will vote through commenting. Do this by giving each story a place from first to third. First-place stories receive 3 points, second place gets 2 points, third place gets 1 point. Stories that do not place do not get any points. For example,
Voter one:
1st place: Story B
2nd place: Story A
3rd place: Story C
Voter two:
1st place: Story A
2nd place: Story B
3rd place: Story C
Voter three:
1st place: Story B
2nd place: Story C
3rd place: Story A
Then Story A will have 2+3+1=6 points. Story B will have 3+2+3=8 points. Story C will have 1+1+2=4 points. Therefore Story B will win by 8 points, Story A will place second with 6 points, and Story C will place third with 4 points. There will also be ties for places, if points equal each other.
There are prizes.
That's right. The first, second and third place winners of every week will receive a banner that they can post on their proffy, declaring that they have won week such-and-such at percylicious fic challenges. 8DD
**So with this, I'll need some help. I would like to recruit one more moderator and two experienced banner-makers.
