It's only taken eleven years but I finally recovered my LJ password. Last I posted here were were trying to buy our current home. Now? We're fully embedded in Ely. A lot has happened since, but I'm not going to summarise.

Well apparently my account still works and still sends me the occasional email notification. I'd say the LJ revival starts here but I understand it's a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vladimir Putin at this stage.

Speaking of which maybe it's time I changed my userpic if that's still a thing I can do.

And mine as well, though I’ve moved on to Facebook where I’m being inundated by beautiful Asian ladies who want me to invest in bitcoin. Meanwhile, Percy Prune, my wife and I have entered a senior residential community. I have not yet surrendered to advancing years, and have kept my Porsche 911 Turbo S, and my Tesla S Plaid. Retirement has been fun with a new sport, pickleball, grabbing my attention. I guess that I will now be a target of AI although I have probably been in the crosshairs for years.
