OMG! Your ex-roommates sound like utter and complete pricks. Throwing out the forks in the take-away containers? I'd have calmly told him "Well, the next one I find in a take-away container is going to be stabbed into your thigh." Have you ever heard "Nobody's Side" from the musical "Chess"? I think you would like it...
