That's too bad, Miss Nitt. I've always found there was something to be said for the way nobody expects one to do very much during the winter.

You're kidding, right? In Lancre, winter is incredibly busy. There are people who slip on ice and you have to unbreak their legs, people who get pneumonia and you have to whack them on the back until they stop coughing, cows that get stuck and stupid little kids who freeze their tongues to every bit of exposed metal they can find.

I really, really wish I could. But it's hard to get anywhere in the winter; the roads are slippery and there have been three coaches that tipped over. And I don't want to use a broomstick in this weather. I'd freeze my tits nose off.
