oh, and random translation question for you:

What are some various English versions for "quaesitum quaerere sapientiae initium est" ?

I'm particularly trying to get at any potential esoteric definitions...(yes, I researched on perseus, but I figured a human viewpoint would also be quite informative. danke lady!)

unfortunately, the human viewpoint also happens to rely quite heavily on perseus for its esoteric definitions. but assuming that "quaesitum quaerere" is the real problem here, I respectfully submit:

to seek/obtain that which was sought
to look for something extraordinary/far-fetched
to think over/investigate a question
to miss that which was obtained

now are you going to tell me where that most enigmatic phrase comes from and why you need esoteric translations of it?
