I know! I mean, don't know anything about anything, but it seems to me that between the brain-power of all these archaeologists and classicists, and the money-power of the packard foundation, there ought to be a number of ready solutions to this problem. and the fact that dr. w.-h. can use the word indifferent in conjunction with the (villa dei) papyri frankly appalls me.
