I've been looking through the Cambridge library catalogue to see what books there are on Liberation Theology - because I owe Jo a reading list, and because I am dying to get back into it myself.

Gosh, I hadn't thought about it either. Though my instictive reaction is 'Of course He can'

What about deaf priests - or priests with any disability? There must be a similar feeling, a similar argument regarding this as per female priests, maybe? (So the preist represents Jesus, but it doesn't matter if they are female/disabled when Jesus happened to be male/able-bodied)
