I do believe I have found one of the grossest medical textbook pictures ever. It all started when I was reading the online version of the Yemen Times; there was a story about how the country needs more funding to fight the screw fly epidemic. Me too. Apparently, better hygiene and more frequent bathing can get rid of eggs before they hatch. That is a good place to start.

Things like this make you realize just how good we have it here in the States. Problems like this don't get to this level because, overwhelmingly, good hygeine and regular washing is the norm. Not doing those things wouldn't occur to most people.
