In just a few days, Hazel will be four months. I thought I should get around to posting my earlier letters to her before it's time to write the next.

1. I canned a bunch of good stuff with some friends this weekend. Apple sauce, apple butter, pear sauce. We also made apple chips and fruit leather. I now want a food mill and a dehydrator ( Read more... ) -

My baby is napping in the bathroom.
I didn't plan for this to happen. I just wanted a shower, and she wouldn't stay asleep if I wasn't in the same room with her.
So, I took her to the bathroom in her Moses basket. She conked right out, I got my shower, and she's still snoozing.

Yarn love
I'm going to tell you about my plans for the Knitting Olympics, but first let me tell you what I did today.
I spent today learning more about knitting. More specifically, I learned how to make seams that suck less and don't involve sewing.
