Well, I met you and became friends with you when your "now" was not so great, so i've been pretty much fine with it. I accept it and just try to work around it so that we can still be happy friends, and it seems to usually go alright

Even though things aren't nice now, life is nothing but a cycle, and i'm sure you can remember a time in your life where your life was bad, but eventually got good again. So why can't that happen again? Just wait for things to turn well again :)
