holy crap I just hired a VP of Sales!

exhausted but can't sleep.

My new advisor, Warren, hooked me up with an invite to a local event with Nancy Pelosi, a talk about her new autobiography. The cool thing? the event is being held at the JFK Library, and my entrance is on a personal invitation from Ted.

so my question... should I call her Madamme Speaker, or just go with Nan?

I have definitely entered a new league. oh, and I have a new birdie icon!

tomorrow morning I will be having coffee with someone that reports directly to Nancy Pelosi, followed by afternoon coffee with a former gubernatorial candidate.

that's a lot of coffee.

I heard back about a state grant program I have been pursuing... We have been accepted to the next stage (due diligence) and been asked to make a 2.5 hour presentation... on thursday.

i'm not nervous, it is only a million dollars.

jameel, i'll let you know when it is time for the jeffersons.

i extended my first offer of employment today.

VT and back in 1 day... 340 miles... 55 mpg... a little over 6 gallons of gas... $24.00.

seeing hundreds of big belly solar-powered trash compactors lined up like storm troopers... priceless.
