Do you know this person? Can you vouch for the fact that they are honestly in trouble?

I was thinking of donating a bit but I'm paranoid and suspicious. Not that it really matters, I can't afford much.

I was (I think) the friend who passed the link along. I don't know the person myself, but received notice from people I consider extremely trustworthy and who have "been there", so I felt a strong urge to contribute and help signal boost.

Of course, we can never know for sure on-line who is being truthful and who isn't. I tell and urge everyone to never donate more to a cause or an individual than they are willing to just handover without question, since you just can never know. I just personally had a strong feeling in this case the need was legit and worth helping out with.
