Mm, methinks Hermione definitely was getting too comfortable. She shouldn't preach so quickly to a crazy mind.

I'm a little cynical with some parts, like Hermione shaving (why bother? No wonder Bella asked if she was expecting a fuck sometime) and her almost pout. Why? It seemed too weird. However, I guess this whole experience is a quite weird, so it kind fit at the same time as striking me as really odd. Also can't really see Bellatrix as someone who'd punch or slap. It just seems a little too human? XP Sounds silly I know! *shrugs*

But yes, still enjoying! *giggles hysterically at Bella having a "morbid" curiosity about Muggle stuff!*
Can't wait till the next chapter!

The shaving is for presentation/hygiene reasons I suppose... kind of like how even though you don't leave the house somedays you still have a shower, get dressed and put makeup on. I know if I was in that situation and given an opportunity to make myself look more presentable I would no matter how pointless. Maybe that's just me and I'm crazy though. :P But yeah, that was the reasoning behind it.

As for the punching/slapping that was something I did debate whether to include, but human reactions eventually won me over. I know that wizards/witches have wands to use to cause pain, but I think when the truth hurts sometimes it is automatic to just react instantly with your fists, and as a kind of psycho witch I can see Bellatrix doing that.

Anyway, I hope those explanations make sense to you, and thanks for the feedback all the same. :)

Mm, yeah, I can go with your presentation/hygiene reasoning. I guess that kinda reminds me of the scene in The Good Wife where Alicia tells a client to get dressed up and put make up on, not for the court, but for herself.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I am all with Bellatrix getting close and physical, but I see her more as a squeezing neck & knife wielding Bellatrix! Well, you did have her near strangling Hermione, so XP But yeah, I can see what you mean with the instant reactions.
