I'm just gonna sit over here and flail for a bit because this is a flail-worthy piece. I love the prose work in this, especially that sneaky little rhyming couplet in the middle there! And then when it got to the 'Hello, Doctor,' part, I think I actually got chills.

The choice of quote is so fantastic. Stupid Charley, the Doctor doesn't need to grow up :/

You know, as much as I am kind of 'eh' towards Charley, I really loved this quote from her. And you could sort of just envision the Doctor looking like a kicked puppy as he listened. BECAUSE IT'S ALL TRUE.
