Feeling better. Could not STAND to pay for a class I absolutely despised and didn't need. This philosophy one looks AMAZING (A consideration of various philosophical questions concerning religion, such as arguments for the existence of God, the problem of evil, the meaning of religious language, the significance of mystical experience, human immortality.) Right up my ally.
Its amazing how quickly you become adjusted to routine after being out of it for so long. I guess our bodies and minds are simply conditioned to our education system... We'll see how it goes. At the moment I love it. Everyone loves the first class. Everyone dreads the second. And everyone sleeps through the third. At least its simply a few steps away...
pee es// who's around this weekend? I'm home Thursday, leaving Saturday afternoon.
**edit** (2:25 am)
'The time has come,' the Walrus said,
'To talk of many things:
Of shoes -- and ships -- and sealing wax --
Of cabbages -- and kings --
And why the sea is boiling hot --
And whether pigs have wings.'
//can't sleep. don't know what's going on. trip to Staples tomorrow. exciting stuff. exam conflict that I must work out. other than that... maybe I'll take a nap. sleep is definitely lacking at the moment.
A friend lent me a book on veganism that I'm currently trying to get through. Had a really good few hours of conversation over lunch about the corruption in our society, globalization, overstimulation and how fucked up everything is. As well as our food choices. Its not as hard to do as I thought it would be but its definitely a long-term commitment that I want to be able to fully understand before undergoing the lifestyle change.
