Ron, that sounds so totally awesome!! You go on with your interning self!! I love writing. I would love love love to be a magazine editor of some sort, or write things for some obscure, off the wall publication that only the really intellectual have heard of. Haha I remember in high school, I used to publish a "newsletter" (if you can call it that) within my circle of friends. Right now, I'm about to start doing a monthly newsletter for my mom's Mary Kay boss. Gee, that really sounds pathetic compared to an internship at New York Press or Time Out New York... but it pays $40 for every newsletter. Haha. (& boy do I need that $$$.)

Anyway. Good luck with both of those internships, I hope they turn out to be everything you expect them to be. I can just imagine all the knowledge you'll get crammed into your head!! And I also wish you luck with the "real" job, lord knows, they're really hard to find these days. Pick something you'll at least slightly enjoy, otherwise it will suck up all your energy and you'll hate every minute ( ... )

shiiiiiiiiiiiiit, $40 bucks a newsletter is a lot better than the zero bucks i'm making at the moment. haha waaaaaaaah real jobs ARE hard to find these days, aren't they. i hope i can find one that i wouldn't mind doing, but sadly at this point i don't have much of a choice. so if someone calls up and is like hey, wanna scoop up dog shit for $10 an hour, i'd have to grit my teeth and say hell yes and make that moola so i'm not homeless in washington square park.
