D is in London this weekend and at his request, we went to Hakkasan last night. As I'd expected, I was totally underwhelmed by the food and the setting to some extent. waaah i am impressed...blow torch..creme brulee...tarte tartin...btw i was in london this past weekend...i ate in chinatown every single day..golden dragon and this other malaysian restaurant...where is piedmont?

the best chinese food is actually not in chinatown IMHO. have you tried the chinese restaurants at Bayswater? The good ones there are Mandarin Kitchen(famous for lobster noodles), Royal China (good dimsum), Four Seasons (slightly over-rated roast duck) and Magic Wok (my personal favourite). And as for Malaysian food, try Satay House on Sale Place (near Edgware Road). Happy eating!!

Piedmont is in the north of Italy. Turin is the capital of this region.
