when you find yourself in the office at 11pm for the 10th working day in a row, you start wondering if you're insane or plain masochistic. and i shoouldn't even be caring about my work any more given that i will be out of here within a year, or hopefully, six months. but here i am

With regards to not caring about work any more: the fact that you are leaving is irrelevant. It's about pride and getting the thing done. In other words, doing it Right.

As for the weekday/weekend thing, I too have wondered: What is it like to not have to put time aside to rest because you're doing a call the next day, so you can't go out late the day before, you can't go out the day of the call and you can't really go out the day after the call because you're catching up with sleep. What isit like to not have to go in every weekend so that you can hang out late and wake up later?

Life is pretty sweet hanging out at the beach every afternoon BUT the tradeoffs are:

1) My "career" is silly
2) I'm poor
3) Very easy to become an alcoholic
