This morning, we put out an announcement for our client, a £200m company, to make a possible offer for a £800m which had already received an offer from a £3.8bn company. it was bold, maybe even audacious. and what do you know, we didn't make it. but it's still gratifying to work for such a good management team and be appreciated by them too.
