Title: Tired Out
Pairing: Hankyung/Yesung
Theme: 03. Blindfolds
Summary: Yesung is so tired.
Yesung collapsed onto his bed. He’d had to get up very early in the morning to practice for an upcoming concert after staying up very late into the night listening to Shindong trying, and failing, to hit the higher notes that Yesung could. Shindong wouldn’t go to sleep until he got the right notes, which was never, and Yesung had to stay up too because of it.
During rehearsals, the members were a little nervous for some reason so they managed to make a lot of mistakes and had to do them over and over.
After the vigorous practice, everyone was slumped all over the stage, exhausted. Eunhyuk, who seemed to still have a lot of energy left in him, decided that Yesung needed some more practice on some of the dance moves and appointed himself Yesung’s dance coach for a few hours, working him extra hard with very little rest.
Later on, Yesung was sitting, groaning in pain when Shindong found him. Apparently, Shindong felt that Yesung didn’t deserve to rest so he persuaded Yesung to sing the high notes again so that he could watch and maybe find out why Yesung could do it and he couldn’t. They spent a good deal of the afternoon just doing that. Yesung’s throat was quite hoarse by the time Shindong decided to give it a rest.
That night, Heechul stole Yesung’s cap and had Yesung chasing after him all over the apartment. Heechul, who soon got tired of running around, thought it would be funny to hide the cap under Yesung’s bed, the last place he would be looking for it and was highly entertained as he watched Yesung turn the whole apartment into a chaotic mess, searching desperately for his dear cap.
When he finally found the cap, Yesung tackled Heechul to the ground and they wrestled for a while until Leeteuk came home to find the place in total disarray. He blew up and had both Yesung and Heechul clean it up. Of course, Heechul cleaning up was as likely to happen as Shindong turning down food. So Yesung did everything all by himself.
Now Yesung just wanted to lie down. They’d be practising some more the next morning and Yesung hoped to be rested. He kept his eyes closed and tried to sleep.
However, somebody had different plans for him as he suddenly felt someone straddling him and covering his eyes with a piece of cloth.
“H-hey! What’s going on?” Yesung cried out, startled.
“Ssh! Come on, Yesung. Come with me,” a voice whispered in Hankyung’s unmistakable accent.
“Hankyung? What the hell are you doing?” Yesung hissed, wondering why in the world they were whispering.
Hankyung got off of him and, tying the piece of cloth around Yesung’s head, he pulled Yesung to his feet and started to drag him away.
“Hankyung!” Yesung struggled to free his wrist but then felt Hankyung’s arms around him from behind to stop him from breaking free. Hankyung made him walk and Yesung had no choice but to comply since Hankyung was obviously bigger and stronger than he was.
Blindfolded, Yesung walked to wherever Hankyung was taking him, stumbling a little as he stepped on Hankyung’s feet. Hankyung made no comment, patiently leading Yesung who was still in his arms.
Soon enough, Hankyung stopped and took off the cloth from Yesung’s eyes. Blinking to get used to the light, Yesung found himself in the kitchen. He looked questioningly up at Hankyung who wordlessly pointed to the kitchen table.
There was a big steaming mug of coffee and a bowl of Beijing fried rice next to it. “What’s this?” Yesung asked uncertainly.
“You were obviously working too hard today, Yesung,” Hankyung said, smiling at him. “I figured you needed a break and might be hungry.”
Yesung smiled in spite of himself. “Thanks, Hankyung. You’re too nice for Heechul,” Yesung said, grinning as he sat down to his meal.
