...Actual Reality Act Up...

okay, well now for what I hope will be a fairly interesting entry. I thought that I would give a detailed description of rent, but so as not to spoil it for those of you who have not seen it yet, if you do not wish to know the end, do not read it, I will put it behind a cut.

okay, so you sit down in the movie theater, and watch... amillion and a half previews. that was a bummer. then finally the music begins and we see the words "Based on the musical by Jonathon Larson" big on the screen. this is wnough to make any rent head cry. the music grows louder as the characters names are introduced and soon we see all 8 of the characters who start singing  Seasons of Love together considering that it is not the strongest song in the show. so we see the actors singing. and Tracie Thoms makes an amazing Joanne. Rent starts immediately with little description of what's going on, but it does set the stage. this on its own made the movie amazing. but can you p icture 2 hours of this? it's like heaven. La Vie Boheme is amazing, the staging was great and finally you see the things that you just cant when watching it on stage. then what would be the intermission, which is confuzing. the best song in the whole show is without you, seeing the memebers of life support slowly dying, and seeing angel die is hear wrenching, much sadder than in the stage performance, you will cry... you just will. the second best number is your eyes/finale for the same reason, it is emotional and amazing, over all... the movie was fabulous. you get to knbow the characters and understand the truth about aids, and what it means to be gay, it opens your eyes to the real world and once you leave that theater you will never be the same. you will see everything in a different light

I hope this review convinces people to go see the movie, because I really think that everyone mustg se it in order to complete their lives.
