YULETIDE 2014
Thank you so much for agreeing to write something for me in one of these fandoms. I am honestly itching for whatever it is you're going to give me.
As far as general things i am into: character studies, AUs (all the AUs for everyone!!!), slice-of-life fic, romcom tropes (pretending to date? awesome. pretending to be married? awesome. sharing a bed? awesome), roadtrips, non-linear narratives, people who cannot stay away from each other no matter how unhealthy and destructive it might be, sharp snappy dialogue, and stories that read like poetry. I like makeouts, and I like porn, but I'm not super into PWP -- I'm more interested in how the way people fuck reveals them and what it says about someone or the relationship between two (or three!) people.
Things i dislike: non-con or dub-con and character-bashing, kid fic.
THE 100 [Bellamy Blake, Clarke Griffin, Raven Reyes]
I am interested in all three of them absurd amounts.
I am interested in Bellamy as someone who views himself as a monster and a failure -- someone trying to do his best and thinking, over and over again, that he's fucked up and come up short. I am interested in him as someone who built himself around his sister and around protecting her, and what it means for who he is when she says she doesn't need him protecting her, for when she's not around to protect at all. I am interested in him as someone with so much bravado but so much vulnerability.
Clarke: actual monster Clarke Griffin? I love how cold, brutal and terrifying she is. I love that she built herself up as someone who would do the right thing and had morals, when she's not better than anyone else. I'd love to see her finally accepting how dark she is. Clarke is someone who is willing to kill, someone who kills when she has to and someone who likes it, likes vengeance. She has a healer's hands and she has a murderer's hands. Explore it!
I love Raven. Raven who just wants to be loved, Raven who wants to be loved in the way she deserves to be loved and dealing with the pain when she isn't. Raven, the youngest zero-g mechanic the ark has seen in 52 years. Raven who builds a bomb. Raven who makes the choice to plant the bomb by herself because it needs to be done and she is willing to step up and do it. Raven who makes the choice to plant the bomb by herself because Finn hesitated and because she loves him and he doesn't love her -- not enough. I'd love to learn more about her past, her mother, her life on the ark.
Character studies on any of them would be great. I'd also be interested in exploring the dynamic between all three of them. Ot3! The three of them as leaders and the three of them recognizing they need each other. The three of them being a unit in every single way: politically and emotionally and physically. Super interested in Raven and Bellamy coming back to each other --crashing into each other -- as a distraction from pain and accidentally starting to care about each other. Super into Clarke and Raven falling in love (I'd pick you first) and how Raven already has Clarke's mom's approval and how Clarke made a wish on Raven. Raven is a shooting star. High school AUs! College AUs! Boarding School AUs! Heist AUs! Music festival AUs! I just thought a How to Get Away With Murder AU for the three of them would be great.
I'm interested in Clarke and Bellamy's relationship but, honestly, I don't really want something just about the two of them because of fandom's tunnel vision. But any other combination of the three is something I would really love.

there’s an overnight IT person at school who always answers the phone when i call about a problem with my computer and i totally have a crush on their voice and their exasperation and ALSO the bakery down the street is always running out of my fave scones and the adorable person behind the counter can’t hide their amusement and i think it’s super rude but also super cute AU

i hired a dog walking company and i’ve never met the person who comes to my apartment but they leave me really cute notes and they give my dog presents and i kind of love them because my dog does and ALSO one of the artists at this gallery opening is hella cute and i want them to paint me like one of their french girls AU

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE RPF [Bill Hader, Kristen Wiig]
I am obsessed with these two and would be interested in absolutely anything you'd want to write about them. Talk about them on SNL: staying up for ungodly hours trying to write and not getting any writing done at all, getting wasted at the after parties, mocking a host they find particularly annoying and terrible behind said host's back at dress. Talk about them filming movies and doing press together: how they hijack interviews doing weird bits, just trying to make each other laugh. Talk about them being best friends or falling in love -- super into affairs, super into them having an on-going and long-term affair. Talk about them happy or talk about them sad.
Again, all the AUs: high school and college as the old standby. Would absolutely love a Celeste and Jesse Forever AU for the two of them, or anything you can think of and want to drop them into.
AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN [Madison Montgomery]
Surprise, bitch!
God, I love Madison so much, and I would love fic about her past, fill in her backstory a bit more and give her more depth and more of a chance to be an actual person. I would love fic that rewrites what happens to her on the show. Madison Montgomery: Supreme. Give me a Madison Montgomery who doesn't get killed, struggling under a boy made up of the bodies of the boys who gang raped her -- not Madison's fault, but shoddy, disgusting writing that has left a bad taste in my mouth. Give me a Madison who gets her revenge in a way that isn't just a sidenote to her getting tortured. Give me a Madison who is complex and funny and shallow and smart and cares deeply about herself and deserving something better than what she gets.
HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER [Laurel Castillo, Rebecca Sutter, Wes Gibbons]
This show is ridiculous! Do we really know anything about anyone? Not really, no. So I would love a backstory or character piece about any three of the people I requested. I think they're all so interesting, maybe in quieter ways than some of the other characters. Laurel wants truth and justice and she cares about people. Wes is also dedicated to helping people who need it. Something about them bonding over that would be great, too. You could do a case-of-the-week format like the show or go in a completely different direction.
As far as Rebecca goes, I love her. I want to know everything about her -- her family and her job at the bar and selling drugs, maybe, and being so terrified in jail. I also really like her relationship with Wes. I would love something that delves into that and how it develops. I find it so interesting that he's so set on protecting her and she seems to really want to be protected by him. Their intimacy in the flashbacks is probably my favorite thing. Watching them get to that point, or starting from that point, would be great.
FIGURE SKATING RPF [Scott Moir, Tessa Virtue]
These two are so dorky and so cute and so special to me. I would love absolutely any angle you'd want to explore. If you want to look at their relationship developing over the years, I would love that. If you want them to drift apart after they officially retire For Good or something and then when they see each other again it's hard and a quiet ache, that would be great. If you're interested in Scott being totally in love with Tessa and pining over her, I'd be into it. Their reality show was neither reality or informative about skating, but I was into the romcom-y/Laguna Beach-ness of it, and you could definitely follow up on that.
Also AUs!!! I would love a college AU for them, or an SNL AU, or any sort of romcom, especially When Harry Met Sally or Friends with Benefits. I'm game for pretty much anything you'd want to do.
ALSO: I just thought about fic based on Taylor Swift's You Are In Love for them, and it gave me a lot of feelings!
