I think your answers in the pseudo-dialogue are pretty dead end answers, and kinda negative. What could you possibly say after someone consistently shows disinterest in your attempts to communicate? I highly doubt that your family loves you any less. Yes, maybe you are more difficult to relate to. But that means both sides have to try harder. I'm not saying I think you should waddle off to eat dead cow and thank the good lord with them, but maybe showing more interest in what they are doing and what they think and believe would show them that you are interested in their lives and want them to be interested in yours. Especially for someone like you, Daniel...you are very strongly in your own little world, admittedly. This doesn't make you the easiest person to talk to, you know, despite the fact that you're friendly and funny and yada ya
