However eventually he got in and now there was a small dirty bunny hopping into the office making little bunny noises to try and get Charlotte's attention.
Hopefully Ms. Taylor wasn't up to chasing him today.

Which practically made Charlotte jump out of her skin, barely managing to keep down a little scream, because now was not the time for random barks! Realizing no immediate danger, Charlotte frowned and looked around.
And then ended up jumping again, this time right to her feet. "Dale! You're..." There was a slight whimper, biting back the urge to nag as she picked him up. "You'll get dirt all over the carpet," she said, in a much softer tone than it would have been right off the bat.
She was just glad to see he was safe, really, even if she was a little disappointed that he was still a rabbit.
