I'm attempting to get an override for a class I need for my major. I sent my teacher an email from last semester and she didn't bother to tell me it was her husband who would be teaching it otherwise I would have contacted him. Now I'm like number 14 on the waiting list and I probably won't get in. I'm not too happy. This sucks. I don't know

They only offer certain classes once out of each year for physics as well. I imagine it is because they get by filling the smallest room in Brace this way, aside from it being extremely convenient, even in your case where the class is high in demand.

Generally UNL seems overly unorganized from my perspective. When you graduate is of little importance as far as administration is concerned. It's "natural" for college to take more than 4 years if you don't know right away what you want to do. This is because even if you decide on the second year you're already fucked by the way they schedule their classes that you'll have to stay for a 5th or 6th year at least.

But there is also a limit on professors.
