I'm thinking about quitting the "official" Brand New community. The people in there are so fucking melodramatic! All I did was post a few icons I made of the lead singer, you know, spreading the love, and I get these comments back like, "It's kind of superficial of you to only make icons of Jesse (the lead singer). hi.. i found you from the _brandnew community i think, and i remember reading all those comments on your post with the icons in the "official" brand new community..

and.. i just wanted to tell you that not all of the people in that community are bitchy, like those people. Alot of those people confuse me because they get all offensive and stuff over dumb crap like that when they shouldnt even worry about it, because the community is about the band, and you should be aloud to post whatever you damn well want to w/out being afraid to get bitched out about it.

if your a fan of brand new i think its actually the best community for information and stuff on them. but i've never actually made a post in there because people are so tempermental about everything.

well anyways..i dont know exactley what that was.. but yeeah.

thank you very much, i actually haven't gotten any comments back from my rants to those people, and i was going to quit if i did... so obviously i'm still in the comm. i think i'm still gonna make icons of whichever band members i want! :P But ya, I honestly don't understand why people get so worked up about icons...and I'm really glad to hear that not everyone is like that! (especially you!) i've had very few stick up for me, and I'm glad you commented... it makes me feel special...like not ever Brand New fan on lj hates me! :P

i agree, go us, we're awesome! i made a nifty BN shirt this weekend...it says "My tongue's the only muscle in my body that works harder than my heart" on the the front, and "appreciate Brand New" on the back. It's awesome. but for some reason, everyone thought that line was supposed to be funny! i guess cuz it's true... :P
