A note from Karl Fuchs, Ph.D., to Angela Cassidy [Flawless script that Aigis may recognize from vK]

Jul 03, 2011 12:00

Ms. Cassidy,

You may have known me at the Institute as "Manfred von Karma," but that is not my true name; I am Karl Fuchs, Ph.D. Thanks to the cooperation of one of the nurses, I learned that your own true name isn't "Aigis" but Angela Cassidy. From now on, to expedite your recovery, I will call you only by your true name.

I regret that I was unable to attend our meeting a few days ago. It was that very same day that the Institute deemed me ready for release. They had given me scarcely enough time to gather my items, let alone to notify anyone. Were it not for that, I would have left you a note sooner since I did stress the importance of punctuality, after all.

You're no doubt concerned about my abrupt disappearance. I can assure you that I have been doing well ever since I returned home to my family.

May your own recovery be as swift as mine. In the meantime, don't forget what I told you about being circumspect in all things. It is a lesson that will serve you well long after you've departed from the Institute.

Regards,
Karl Fuchs, Ph.D.
Professor of Criminal Law
