Heh I made my own beaded bracelet with orange and yellow (self-harm and suicidal), and no one I know at school knows about the meaning.

*shrug* i wear the ribbon and I give out all three different ones (orange, orange and white, white) to people. Last year I made posters to put around campus for SIAD. Some other SIers have gotten upset at me for doing this... saying I'm just letting everybody know. The point of SIAD is to make other people AWARE of what's going on.... not for it to be some secret holiday for us.
