Exactly. This is quite far-fetched copared to what happened to us before, but this would be one good example of what they do to us. 'They' being the beings who inhabit this place, and not the scientists who seem to have nothing to do with this.

Is it possible that the beings which cause these events consider our presence a threat? If this was their home first, we are the invaders.
