As much as I hate to hear that you aren't going to be a music major anymore... I can definitely relate. It's a very difficult and very expensive major - that's why the School of Music only retains about 30% of all prospective majors from entrance to graduation! I'm glad to hear, though, that you're going to remain involved in music, even if you're not majoring in it. :)

Your poor music class is dying, Reece! Tim Walker, Rose, and now you... I'm sure there are more I'm forgetting somewhere. It's wild.

yeah, there's no point for me to be a saxophone music major, unless I was going to go to grad school with it. There's no place for a good classical saxophone player in this world... not that I'm good or anything... but what would be the point of getting good anyways? I'd like to play in an orchestra sometime, but that probably won't happen considering what I play.

hey dude. i'm not a music major anymore, either. i completely understand. i love singing with all of my being, but.....it's not worth sacrificing my health and life and mental stability for.

yep! and you can still sing all you want... you don't have to be a music major to do that. that's how I feel about playing the sax.

yeah... life's hard stuff. We've just got to stay creative, and keep having fun. It's true, you can make every day an adventure, and every day you can grow. We'll definitely hang out and make some music this winter break... good times
