Of course we're going to appreciate our youth in retrospect... time makes everything we currently hate about our youth seem less significant, our older age will blur out everything other than merely the idea of "being younger again". I'm sort of lukewarm on my youth, the fact that "I should appreciate it" doesn't affect that.

Of course, I'm going to end up being 30 and wondering "Jesus, where did my life go?" just like everyone else... oh well.

Don't worry about age, it isn't really important except to dipshit institutions of society. The only thing you really can't get away with when you're older is doing illegal things you could get away with in, say, high school. Some 40 year olds are cool and some 20 year olds are worthless assholes. Besides physically, it really is just how old you feel and act.
