quiet sleepy mornings at work sometimes prompt me to take one--and to post my results when I get something I like this much. Filched from Stepps, it's another Mary Sue meme. And I must say, I couldn't be happier with my results! I couldn't have picked something more perfect for myself-as-a-Mary-Sue if I tried...

I remember reading a fic with such a character in it. I don't remember the title now, but I do recognize the character. She was captured by the Death Eaters, and Snape rescued her.
Oh, and I'd love to see Voldemort spontaneously combust.

Hee hee :) You don't know how many times I was tempted to write something along those lines myself, so I'm not surprised that (1) you've come across this plot before, and (2) that my answers made me this type of Mary Sue.

You want to see Voldy combust? Hee hee :) I guess this proves even more that I'm like my MarySue!version of me--I think he's rather fascinating and cuddly, myself--in a soulless, psychotic, maniacal kind of way. ;) But the point is, he's interesting, so I like him.

Ohhhhh how I love your icon, btw! :)

Oh yes, interesting he is - in an evil, sociopathic sort of way. He's a very well written villian, that's for sure - not that cliché bad-guy.
The icon is from nerwende. Her journal is full of lovely icons.

Great--thanks! I'll have to check out her journal.

I completely agree on Voldemort being well-written and non-cliche. He has some real depth to his character--as we found out beyond a shadow of a doubt in HBP. I'm really glad that JKR's giving a reason to why he is the way he is--I'm always fascinated by characters' pasts and discovering what makes them tick.

Naturally, I'm crossing my fingers that we get a similar background on a certain ex-DADA professor/Potions master as well! :)
