Spring Status Update 2009

- A couple ornamental shrubs in bloom, particularly a very fragrant one near work. I will have to discover what it is. It has evergreen leaves, and small white flowers. I also saw what appeared to be a really frilly forsythia blooming in someone's yard. It probably isn't a forsythia at all. Daphne still not blooming

I am so jealous. It has been a cold winter here this year, and I am hoping to join you soon in the land of early spring.

Unfortunately, while spring starts early here, it moves really slowly and lasts for months and months. So usually, by the time it is in full swing, the east coast has either caught up with us or surpassed us.
