Or possibly even a dirndl. I went to take a look at Oktoberfest, and I knew it was going to be large, but noone had warned me that it would be *huge*.

Two afterthoughts (as a commentbrather than an edit since LJ is crappy on the iPhone):

Not sure that it's a good idea to invite more people. Oktoberfest might reach critical mass and collapse into a black hole.

It was not, however, the unruly crowd of drunken Americans o had been warned about, in fact most were German, and pretty rule despite being drunk.
