I ended up going out to the Wiesn twice more today, well shielded against the burning sun. I tried a couple rides - the AlpinBahn is great! Also tried various combinations of mostly carbs and fat, though I did spot an actual fruit stand. By the time I got back out there with the camera, there were fewer families, but I did get some sorta-rule 7 pictures.

Oktober has only just begun, but Oktoberfest is over, ended yesterday (and it was even extended one day due to the 200 years anniversary). It starts in mid-September now, to get more of the good weather. Which of course means I can expect shittier weather now. And, indeed, it is raining as I write this.
