Exploring the East Side

Mickey and I went shopping on the east side of the Isar today, looking for a couple specialty shops. What we didn't expect to find was a large city library, a great but not pricey supermarket, a possible job opening at a yarn shop, and one of the few English movie theatres - that holds the world record for longest regular showing of Rocky Horror ( Read more... )

I'm glad the cost was a lot less than you'd figured. It's always nice to have such a pleasant surprise...and always nice to be skipped when the flock of ducks come by to nibble to death their prey...

...As for the spreadable butter, isn't it a spiffariffic idea?? I use it, too! 8D

Don't tell me you have Kærgården over there, too? Americans wouldn't even know how to pronounce it! It was not so much the spreadableness as the fact that the Danish brand is sold here.

Nope, not that brand, but Land'O'Lakes comes from like Minnesota or Michegan or something, and we also have Lucerne, which is more Pacific Northwest. Both make a decent, spreadable butter.
