Jane Eyre

I've taken to doing more reading, using iBooks when on the go, and I'm going to rotate between classic works, sciencey works, computer works and German stuff. First up: Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brönte (funny, the fancy editor here doesn't allow the standard accent composing). I've been wanting to read this one since I read the Thursday Next books, ( Read more... )

That is one of the things I notice when I read a lot of books. Similarities wetween openings, plotlines, characters or setting.
Case in point is Jodie Lynn Nye`s "An unexpected apprentice". I find the book entertaining to read, but I can`t shake the feeling of reading LOTR-lite (very lite).

Of course I`ve started reading a lot of older books now that I`ve got a Ipad. Yay... more books in another setting to explore. Don`t get me wrong, I still prefer the paper feel to books, but there is something to be said for having a portable library as well. 70 books an counting.

I`going to check out Leblanc`s Arsene Lupine books next, and see how much I can cross reference this to other things I`ve red or seen :-)

Pardon for the spelling mistakes. Lunch break is short.
