Tomorrow is my last shift at Michaels!!! My dad got me a job for the summer through the Water Authority that pays better, guarantees 40 hours a week, and leaves my weekends and evening free. I'll have to find something else come fall, but I'll deal with that later

Does the water authority require that you take the Civil Service exam for a longer position, or is the job itself just temporary no matter what?

The position is for a max of 12 weeks, and is a summer program for college students. I'll have the chance (more than likely) to come back next summer for another 12 weeks, but this job isn't really designed to get your foot in the door. They just wanna help out kids trying to pay for school. The only requirements are that you gotta be able to pass a drug test and are currently enrolled in college.
