After I get my PhD. and I'm rich and stuff (I can dream, right?), I wanna have a small stable full of Thoroughbreds and drafts and a large garage full of classic cars. On a nice plot of land out in the country. With a nice, old house with plenty of charm and space for friends to visit.

A couple of weeks ago, I was on Etsy and found a kit for growing your own salsa ingredients.  I thought it looked interesting, so I bought it.  I planted them and some other seeds in a little early start tray thing that my mom had and put it in the computer room window.  It's been exciting watching the plants sprout! It was actually kinda warm out, I really like my Tuesday/Thursday classes, and I got to see Dan Akroyd in person!

My brother and I destroyed some furniture in the basement yesterday with a saw and a hatchet. It was awesome.

I now have the house to myself until sometime Monday.

I saw Rorshach walking around campus yesterday. Holding a sign for some sort of campus election.

Today was the first day of classes after Spring Break, and it was obvious. I didn't feel like going to class myself, but it's harder to skip when you live at home and your parents know your schedule ( Read more... )
