I might be working on a steampunk Mir/San pirate fic. If you're interested I can add you to the list of people I'll be emailing it to once I've got enough done for it to be worthwhile (since I'm totally not brave enough to post such a fic in public). :D

Even though it has nothing to do with pirates you should read Ehrangard by Isak Dinesen. It's like a fairytale. When I was reading it I thought of you. :)

Well, when I say thinking of you I mean that I think you would like it . . . It's like this fairytale novella about a princess and her baby and her maiden-in-waiting and the artist who's friends with all of them. It's hard to explain without going into detail. You just have to read it.
