So, I accidentally spilled orange juice all over my laptop this weekend and now it won't turn on. And unfortunately, the help desk is not open on weekends. I'm a genius...

But in other news, I am now ginger! Well, I will be in a few hours. :3 I'll take some pictures when it's done.

Eh, don't worry about comparisons. There is nothing wrong with having similar ideas. I'm sure you'll bring your own twists and flairs to the story that will make it unique.

I totally understand though. I'm planning out a new canon fic, and I'm utterly convinced that it might be taken as a Sango version of this story. Though, actually, if anyone does, I'll probably take it as a compliment. XD

Out of curiosity, what's your major?

Ooh, new canon fics are fun. And if it's like Lingering Ghosts, I'll read it regardless! As you said, I'm sure yours will be different. (Ha, I'd love to be compared to Scribe, but he's a much better writer than me XD)

My major is graphic design. It's fun I guess, just not really what I want to do for the rest of my life. I'm more of a writing sort of person, not really an artist.

I agree with Aamalie; similar ideas shouldn't be frowned upon. If anything, I find that they challenge you as a writer, and fuel inspiration that should be praised, not compared or criticized. :D

That's very true; I think that's how it should be. I just get nervous when my ideas are similar to others', particularly if that other is quite a bit more well known than me...hehe.
