Do personal computers have ONE static IP address or does it change? I didn't realize that LiveJournal had a session log until just now. Looked at it and this is what I found:

I'm the wrong guy to ask about this, but it looks to me like two different people are logging in here, or, you use two profiles on your computer. one running ie6, and one running ie7, and that sounds pretty unlikely.

Personal computers usually have a dynamic IP address. It depends on your ISP. Comcast, for example, only offers static IP addresses to business customers. That said, usually your personal computer will have the same IP address anyway because of the way DHCP assigns the IP addresses, though you can't count on it. Seeing this switching between two different addresses seems strange though, as I wouldn't expect your personal computer to change back and forth.

Do you log in from anywhere else? Going to Starbucks with a laptop would change your IP, for example. If not, I suggest changing your password to something new and robust, just to be safe.

Road Runner Holdco Llc looks like it's an ISP (owned by Time Warner Cable).
