I second Saprtacus and the Kindle app. Lois McMaster Bujold's Miles Vorkosigan series is free for eReaders on her website.

Try Sharpe's Rifles. BBC production starring Sean Bean's butt.

Any Joss Whedon.

David Tennant's Dr. Who.

My new favorite to work out to- White collar on USA Network. It's all about Neil's eyes...

If you have an xBox 360 with an xBox live account you can stream The Guild for free. If you also have a Netflix account you can tie it to your Wii or xBox and use Watch it Now.

The Entire Animated Series of "Avatar: The Last Airbender" is cute.
"Witch Hunter Robin" if you haven't seen it - is brilliant.

"Weeds" is fun for the first 3 seasons.

"UNITED STATES OF TARA!" That show is hilarious!

Omg - do you have Netflix? If you even have a laptop with wi-fi you can stream a lot of movies. Sign up for the week and then cancel afterwards if you don't have it yet. Trust me it will be worth your while!

"Moributo: Guardian of the Spirit" - I'm on vol. 6 and while it's not Avatar, I still really like it.

I'll keep brainstorming... and BOO about your ribs! Feel better soon!

I've recommended the anime "Spice and Wolf" before, see if you can find fansubs of it - wonderful blend of Japanese mythology, Renaissance-era setting, and economic intrigue. And the banter between the titular characters is awesome. ^_^

As I said before, just glad to know you're okay. *hug* Heal quickly and well.
