The classroom training was just crisis intervention and behavioral stuff...they didn't prepare us for actual *parenthood*. Parenthood = you take your eyes off a 5 year old for less than 2 minutes to get them some juice and they've shoved 2 discs into 1 ps3 and rendered it useless.

Holy shit. Wow. I've never heard that parenthood is easy, and you certainly didn't take the easy way out by volunteering for special needs kids. You are officially a good egg. Good on the both of you.
