1. What high school did you go to?
Kettering Fairmont High School in Kettering, Ohio.

2. What year did you graduate?
2000.

3. What were your favorite band(s) or artist(s):
They Might Be Giants, Moxy Fruvous, Beatles

4. What was your favorite outfit?
The same thing I wear now, jeans and a t-shirt.

5. What was up with your hair?
I started growing it out around the beginning of freshman year and never really cut it since. I got tired of shaving my chin and sported a goatee for a few months. I shaved it off then, only to have it reappear around the beginning of junior year, where it stayed until it became the basis of the beard.

6. Who were your best friend(s)?
Doug, until he moved back to Pittsburgh and we subsequently grew more or less out of touch. After that, I didn't have anybody I would have considered a best friend.

7. What did you do after school?
Marching band, jazz band, the musical, chess club/team, and in my senior year science olympiad.

8. Where did you work?
I worked somewhat erratically (hours were on a sign-up basis) the last couple of years for the University of Dayton's catering service.

9. Did you take the bus?
Yes, until my mother got fed up with shuttling me around after school and bought me a car.

10. Who did you have a crush on?
Lots of people. Heathyr, Kira, Amanda, Amy, Angie, and Wynn were the most significant, in roughly chronological order, but only Heathyr and Kira had a marked effect on my life, and they were both out of state.

12. Did you fight with your parents?
Not so much, really. Most of the fighting I remember took place in middle school, not in high school.

13. Did you ever get detention?
Fairly often, due to repeated tardiness and forgetting to scan in when I arrived.

14. Favorite Subject?
Physics and Latin. I also admit to having fond memories of playing Quake in my C++ class.

16. Who did you have a CELEBRITY crush on?
Nobody comes to mind. I didn't pay much attention to celebrities.

17. Did you smoke cigarettes?
No.

18. Did you lug all of your books around in your backpack all day?
The ones that managed to avoid taking up permanent residence in my locker.

19. Best event ever?
The marching band competition senior year where we took first place in nearly every category. =D

20. Did you have a clique?
I associated with a number of cliques but wasn't really a member of any of them.

21. Where was your Senior Prom at?
The gymnasium of one of the elementary schools.

22. Did you have a "Max" like saved by the bell?
There was a pizza place that was popular called Marion's Piazza, but I never really went. I think that those who did eventually got themselves banned, anyway.

23. Admit it, were you popular?
Heck no.

24. Who did you want to be just like?
Nobody. I had this annoyingly righteous attitude that I had to be different just for the sake of being different.

25. What did you want to be when you grew up?
An archaeologist, a physicist, a video game designer, or a writer.

26. Where did you think you'd be at the age you are now?
Living in a cardboard box. No, seriously.

27. What was the color of your yearbook?
School colors, I think. I seem to have misplaced my copy.

28. What were the colors of your school?
Blue and silver.

29. What was your school mascot?
The firebird, which was the result of joining the falcon of Fairmont East with the dragon of Fairmont West when the two schools merged. Whoever designed the logo did a really nifty job by making it look like a raptor when viewed normally and like a dragon when turned upside down.
