Welp, I thought the interview Thursday morning went pretty well, but I didn't get the lab staff position. However, as a result of the whole switcheroo thing, I'm now assigned to TA for AI and for the graduate-level algorithms class. So hurray for no lab sections, majors-only courses, and already owning the books
